Premise[]
Wild Mouse, a mouse raised by wolves, is targeted by Tom after his owner Pierre tells him to catch the mouse who's eating out of house and cabin.
Synopsis[]
In the snowy mountains, we meet a crazed mouse running amok on a tree when he pauses to smell the scent of food coming from a log cabin, home of Hungry Pierre. In the cabin, we see Tom making flapjacks for Hungry Pierre, but the meal is disrupted by Wild Mouse stealing food from Pierre. Pierre gives chase to Wild Mouse, but he escapes and eats the rest of the food. Poor Hungry Pierre is so hungry he becomes delusional as he sees Tom as food, but stops and tells the kitten that he must capture Wild Mouse while he goes out on an errand.
Tom sets a trap for Wild Mouse, but he's just too fast for the traps. The tables are then turned and Wild Mouse sets a trap for the easily fooled Tom. Tom returns to the cabin, but Wild Mouse is just too quick for him and Tom ends up in a bear cave while the mouse eats everything in the house. Tom continues his attempts at capturing the speedy mouse, but fails on every turn.
In a last ditch effort, Tom pushes a boulder to roll onto and destroy Hungry Pierre's cabin. Pierre returns to find his cabin in ruins, but Tom has managed to capture Wild Mouse. Pierre becomes sympathetic to the crazed mouse and they make peace with Pierre thinking Wild Mouse would need an education to have a career as a lumberjack. Tom and Wild Mouse then board a school bus and leave Pierre to eat by himself until they return, We iris out. but irises in when Pierre belches a couple seconds later, We iris out again.
